- Must have letter of acceptance to a two year or four year program from an accredited College or University in South Carolina.

Award amount
$1,000.00 for one academic year, non-renewable.

Relevant information-Primary Award Criteria
- Preference is given to students with financial need, proof of low income to include verification from guidance counselor, case worker, or subsidized housing manger; food stamp or Medicaid card, tax records or SSI income verification.
- Must score 1500 or higher on the SAT.
- Academic achievement (i.e. overall minimum G.P.A. or discipline G.P.A.)
- Community involvement and service
- Leadership (school, community or church)
- Participation in extracurricular activities (i.e. choir, creative arts, debate team, etc.)
- Personal or family attributes (single parent, two or more enrolled siblings, etc.)
